The police tracked down the duo Thursday evening. In cooperation with the police helicopter, they gained sight of the vehicles used by the suspects. The suspects drove in a car and later on a scooter through various neighborhoods in Groenekan, Bilthoven, and Den Dolder. The police observed that the suspects walked in gardens and looked inside the houses. They were presumably wearing balaclavas. In Den Dolder, the suspects were ultimately arrested. They are charged with preparing for a burglary.

Residents in Groenekan, Bilthoven, and Den Dolder may have noticed the presence of the police helicopter on the night from Thursday to Friday between 00:00 and 03:00. So far, the police have found no signs of forced entry at the homes where the suspects were spotted. If you do find fresh signs of forced entry, please contact the police at 0900-8844.
