The intended target of the shooting incident was sitting on the terrace of a hospitality venue in the shopping center on that September evening. At one point, two men approached via the alley near the Aldi supermarket, then approached the victim/target.
The first man held a piece of clothing in his hands and almost immediately aimed it at the victim. The way he did this suggests he was holding a firearm under the clothing. The second man also had a firearm or a firearm-like object in his hands. The victim immediately fled towards the shopping centers parking lot, followed by the two men. Then two shots were fired.
The window of a parked car in the parking lot was shattered, but fortunately no one was injured. This could have ended very differently: it was still early evening and the supermarket was still open, so there were also some shoppers present.
