Around 9:30 AM, two individuals entered the store. One of the perpetrators threatened an employee with a knife. The robbers smashed jewelry display cases and then left with the loot.
Investigation
Multiple police units searched the area for the perpetrators. The public was also called upon for help through a Burgernet alert, which included a description of the suspects. Both robbers wore blue rain suits and hats. Officers took witness statements. Witnesses also provided police with surveillance footage. Forensic investigators are conducting trace analysis.
