The police immediately began an investigation following the discovery of the body of the 57-year-old man. Multiple scenarios were considered. Among other things, camera footage was reviewed, witnesses were interviewed, and the Forensic Investigation conducted extensive evidence collection.

Crime
During the investigation, evidence increasingly pointed towards a possible crime. A Major Investigation Team (TGO) was initiated, after which detectives tracked down a suspect. This suspect was arrested on Wednesday, April 9. He is currently in custody.
