People were concerned that drugs were being dealt from a house on the Eem in Heerhugowaard. After reports via 0800-7000, the Undercover Team of the police in Heerhugowaard was able to start an investigation with the clues provided.
Thanks to the investigation, a car on Lorreinelaan in Alkmaar came into view on Friday, October 3. The car contained wraps (small envelopes) with suspected hard drugs, cannabis, and several phones.
The police then entered the house on the Eem. There, another 272 wraps and 1.5 kilograms of cannabis buds were found. This has been seized for destruction. Cash was also confiscated.
A 36-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man from Heerhugowaard have been arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
