Scooter rider (47) dies after collision in Weert

In a collision between a truck and a scooter, a scooter rider lost her life on Thursday morning. She was a 47-year-old woman from Weert.

The accident occurred just before 11:30 AM on Wilhelminasingel. The victim died at the scene from her injuries.

Interrogation
The driver of the truck was taken to the police station for interrogation by the Traffic Accident Tactical Support Team (TTOV). Forensic Investigation specialists and the Traffic Investigation Team are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
