Around 3:40 AM, we received a report that a stabbing incident had occurred in the residence. The injured man fled the house to his neighbors, who called emergency services. The 54-year-old man sustained facial injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further medical care. The woman was still inside the house and was detained by officers.


An investigation will determine exactly what happened inside the residence. We will hear from the victim, the suspect, and witnesses, and conduct neighborhood inquiries. The house was sealed overnight for further (forensic) investigation, which will take place later today.
