Around 5:30 PM, a report was received from a female driver stating she was being chased in her car by the suspect. The shooting incident then occurred near Markerkant. The female victim escaped unharmed and no one on the street was hit. The suspect – a 45-year-old man from Almere – has been arrested and is in custody for investigation and questioning.
The police conducted forensic investigations on site and, with the help of a police dog, found a firearm which has been seized. Additionally, the police are conducting neighborhood inquiries and reviewing available camera footage.
