The police arrived around 11:00 AM on Tuesday morning after a report was made about the resident.
As a precaution, 16 homes on Gulicksestraat have been evacuated. People still present on Gulicksestraat are asked to stay indoors.
The area has been cordoned off for safety reasons. The cordon also creates workspace for emergency services.
The police have deployed a negotiator specialized in de-escalating situations.
