The police received a report of a stabbing incident on Saturday, October 11, around 10:50 PM. A 27-year-old man from the municipality of Sudwest-Fryslân was stabbed with a knife at a building in Westhem. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Arrest of Suspect
The suspect, a 25-year-old man from the municipality of Sudwest-Fryslân, was no longer present at the location at that time. He was arrested some time later in Drachten. The man is in custody and being interrogated. The police are also speaking with those involved and witnesses to clarify what exactly happened.
