The discovery of a weapon in a vehicle during a check on Monday, October 13, prompted the police to conduct further investigation at the drivers residence. During the initial search of the residence, weapons, ammunition, and a hemp plantation were found. The driver of the vehicle was arrested as a suspect. The suspect is a resident and is currently under full restrictions, so the police are not sharing additional information about the suspect. The suspect will be presented to the examining magistrate on Friday, October 17, during which the Public Prosecution Service will request that this person remains in pre-trial detention for an additional 14 days.

In the past few days, extensive investigations have taken place on-site. This investigation is not yet complete. Weapons and ammunition found have been seized and will be destroyed.
