Recently, the police received multiple signals from various sources indicating possible illegal gambling at the business. In the basement of the building, the police found several items suggesting illegal gambling activities.

Large amounts of cash

The police detained all persons present in the building and seized a large amount of cash from them. They searched cars and the premises and confiscated various items. The nineteen visitors were released after investigation. They are suspected of participating in illegal gambling activities.

Two persons still detained

The 38-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man, both from Arnhem, remain in custody. They are suspected of organizing illegal gambling activities.

Laundry next door

During the operation, a door of the adjacent laundry was mistakenly forced open, but the laundry was not involved in the raid.
