On Monday afternoon around 4:00 PM, the police entered the house. There, the officers found multiple types of explosives. After investigation by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), it turned out to be multiple explosives and various types of heavy, illegal fireworks, including cobras. The EOD detonated the explosives in a safe location. In the meantime, the surrounding houses were evacuated. Later in the evening, all residents were allowed to return to their homes.
The Danger of Illegal Fireworks
Illegal fireworks are very dangerous. One cobra has the same explosive power as a hand grenade. The more cobras, the larger the explosion. Not only is lighting them dangerous, but transporting and storing them also poses a significant risk. It is no wonder that the detection of illegal fireworks has our full attention.
