At around 10:00 PM that Saturday, the police received a report of a stabbing incident in the Utrechtsestraat. Within minutes, officers arrived on the scene and found a boy with a severely bleeding leg. They acted immediately and applied a tourniquet. When the bleeding continued, they applied a second tourniquet, and the bleeding stopped. It later turned out that due to their quick actions, the boys life was saved.

Arrest
Investigations revealed that a fight had taken place in which the victim was stabbed. On Monday evening, the suspect, also a 19-year-old Amsterdammer, was arrested for the stabbing.
