The shooting incident took place on Saturday, November 8 around 6:30 PM. That same evening, two people were arrested. Before the arrest of one of them, the police fired a warning shot. No one was injured. These individuals are no longer suspects in the investigation.
Another incident that evening
That evening, another shooting incident occurred at the Winterkoninkje in Hoorn. One person was injured. A house was also hit by a bullet.
The District Detective Unit North Holland North is investigating these incidents. They are also examining whether there is a connection between the two incidents.
