After receiving signals of possible forced prostitution of minors, the team started an investigation. This led to an intervention action aimed at the suspects at a location in the Eindhoven city center.  The action was also aimed at removing potential victims from the situation and bringing them to safety. During this action, investigators, in the presence of the later arrested suspects, found an Eastern European minor girl. She stated that she was forced into prostitution.

The victim has been placed in a safe, secret location. The team is conducting further investigations into the suspects. They were presented to the examining magistrate on Tuesday. The magistrate decided that two suspects would remain in custody longer. One suspect has since been released but remains a suspect in the investigation. Because the suspects still in custody have all been placed under restrictions, they may only contact their lawyer, and for that reason, we cannot share more substantive information about the investigation at this time. They were presented to the examining magistrate on Tuesday and taken into custody.
