A cocaine laundry is a place where cocaine is recovered from concealed materials such as liquids or clothing. It is not drug production, but significant amounts of narcotics and hazardous chemicals were found. The premises have now been closed and sealed.
The arrest team found the laundry in full operation in the attic of the building. The laundry was cleaned up on Saturday and Sunday. During the operation, data carriers and a vehicle were seized. A day later, the police arrested a 42-year-old man from Sprang-Capelle.

The police are seeking information about the cocaine laundry and urge witnesses to come forward. Anyone who has seen anything suspicious or knows more about the activities on Raadhuisstraat prior to the raid is asked to contact the police.
