Around 4:30 PM, a report was received that a person with a stabbing injury was at an apartment complex on Menadostraat. Officers arrived on the scene and found three injured persons inside the building. The injured include a 45-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman from Amsterdam, and a 32-year-old woman from Groningen, who were urgently transported to the hospital. At the time of the stabbing incident, the victims were accompanied by two young children who remained unharmed. It is now clear that the three victims are out of life-threatening danger.
The suspect was also arrested in the building. The suspect is a 29-year-old man from Amsterdam. What exactly happened and why remains unclear and is under investigation by the police.
