The case began last September when detectives from the East Brabant police spotted a fast Audi RS6 that was reported stolen. In the subsequent investigation, they tracked down the male suspects arrested in Austria, who appeared to have shifted their area of operation to that Alpine country. The information secured during this process was, of course, shared with their Austrian colleagues.

After the arrests in the act of the man from Den Bosch and the Amsterdammer last week in Austria, detectives conducted searches in their homes. Among other things, fake weapons, ammunition, a large amount of cash, phones, and other electronic equipment were found. Five cars owned by the suspects were also seized.

The investigation is still ongoing, but in the meantime, the district detectives in Den Bosch look back with satisfaction on a great result and a constructive collaboration with the Austrian and German police and Europol.
