This occurred on March 12, 2025. The municipality filed a report of this vandalism, and the police launched an investigation. It was found that a group of youths was responsible for the vandalism. Four arrests have been made so far, but more arrests are not ruled out.

The General Local Regulation of the municipality of Goirle includes articles that state it is prohibited to participate in a gathering and/or to exhibit behavior that leads to disturbances. Both the police and enforcement officers are authorized to take repressive measures in case of violations of these rules. This means that, for example, fines can be issued, even to youths.

The arrested suspects provided a statement to investigators regarding the vandalism. In consultation with the public prosecutor, an appropriate penalty will be imposed on the suspects. The municipality intends to recover the damages from the suspects.
