Suspect arrested after stabbing incident on Edisonlaan in Tilburg

On Monday evening, July 14, the police received a report of a stabbing incident on Edisonlaan in Tilburg around 9:00 PM. The caller reported that someone had been stabbed there. After investigation at the scene, officers arrested a man who may be involved in the incident.

Officers go directly to the address after the report. There they find an injured man.
The police cordon off the crime scene with police tape to protect the area and prevent evidence from being lost or contaminated. The police immediately start an investigation, and officers speak with witnesses and review CCTV footage.

During the investigation, a name of a possible suspect is mentioned. Around 11:00 PM, the police arrest a man in Broerestraat in Tilburg. He is in custody and being interrogated. The motive for the stabbing is still unknown and is part of the investigation.
