At around a quarter to ten in the evening, the control room received a report that a man was being taken against his will by several people on Joan Muyskenweg.

Multiple units immediately went to the scene. As soon as the officers arrived, the suspects fled. One of the officers fired a warning shot. Two suspects were arrested. They are a 25-year-old man from Purmerend and a 28-year-old man from Zwanenburg.
