Start investigation

The reason for this large-scale investigation into youth in Haarlemmermeer was a street robbery in Haarlem on May 5, 2025. After a brief search, a suspect was arrested. The suspect, an 18-year-old boy from the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, had a firearm with him at the time. In the investigation into this street robbery, information emerged that ultimately led to the arrest of these three suspects. In addition to these three suspects, this investigation has already led to the arrest of a minor suspect who is still in custody for various street robberies and public violence.

Victim and perpetrator

It may be that young people become involved in incidents as both victim and perpetrator. Our urgent advice: step out of the situation and talk to the police. This can be difficult, but it prevents situations from getting worse. Young people have a future, and it is important not to waste it. Those who find it difficult to go directly to the police can also seek support from school or people in their own environment. Anonymous reporting is also possible through the above options.

For parents

If you suspect that your child is being extorted or is involved in the criminal circuit, talk to your child about it. Do you have valuable information that could stop crime? Parents can also share information with Report Crime Anonymously or the police.
