Two motorcycles, two unmarked vehicles, a van, and an ANPR* car were deployed. At Beverwijk station, mopeds and fatbikes were tested on a rolling test bench.

The control started with the arrest of a moped driver. This driver was found to be driving with an invalidated license and under the influence of drugs.  During the search, a large quantity of drugs and illegal cigarettes were found. The moped was confiscated.

A scooter driver was stopped. This driver was under the influence of alcohol and had to surrender their license. Meanwhile, a fatbike rider collided with the open door of the unmarked police car. Fortunately, the rider was not injured. This rider was also under the influence of alcohol.

In total, four people were arrested for driving under the influence of drugs. If your test is positive, you will be arrested and a doctor will take a blood sample. This allows us to see which drugs were used and whether it is a punishable amount. One driver refused to cooperate with blood sampling. Their license was confiscated. If your license is invalidated or confiscated, you may not drive.
