On Thursday morning, July 17, around half past ten, three suspects arrived on two scooters. Witnesses saw one suspect storm into the store with a drawn weapon and another with a hammer in hand, but less than a minute later - without loot - they fled the store. All three got back on the scooters and then dumped them along the Suze Groenwegplantsoen. From there, the suspects fled further on a fatbike.
All three suspects were dressed in black. One wore a balaclava, a black jacket with an orange shirt underneath, and black Nike pants. The second man had a hood on, wore gray gloves, black Under Armour pants, and carried a backpack. The third suspect wore black rain pants and carried a sports bag on his back.
The investigation team is looking into the case and is calling on witnesses to come forward. Did you see anything around the Burgemeester de Vlughtlaan?
