Two unknown men broke into the house around 11:00 PM that day, while the residents were present. The robbers used violence. The man had to be transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The detectives immediately started an investigation to identify the suspects. A 21-year-old man from Amsterdam was arrested in December at his home. He is currently still in custody. The investigation into the identity of more suspects continued and led to the identification of the now arrested suspect. He, a 21-year-old man from Amstelveen, was arrested in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 13. He is detained for questioning.
