During the arrest on Saturday, May 10, 2025, around 7:00 PM, officers went to a house on Langstraat as part of a planned arrest. When they attempted to apprehend the suspect, he refused to cooperate and immediately used violence. He struck and kicked multiple officers. Three officers were involved in this incident.

To stop the violence, the officers deployed a Taser. The 41-year-old man from Etten-Leur was then apprehended. The involved officers are filing charges of assault.
