There was soon a sighting of three suspects. Given the report involving a firearm, the DSI was called in. Two suspects were apprehended later in the evening at Ludingakerke in Drachten. They are a 26-year-old man from Drachten and a 35-year-old man without a permanent residence. The investigation into the third suspect continues today.

Arrests after Assault and Street Robbery

Around 9:00 PM, the control room received a report of a street robbery on Dwarswyk in Drachten. A 36-year-old man from Drachten was reportedly assaulted and robbed of his phone. The report indicated that a knife and firearm were seen during the incident. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
