Use of Taser

Several police cars went to the station and the police officers entered the train. When the police saw the suspect who, according to a witness, had the knife with him, he tried to flee. He attempted to escape from the police by running further into the train. The train was at that moment full of passengers. Because this created a dangerous situation for both the police and the train passengers, the police officer used his Taser. This allowed the suspect to be arrested. The other suspect was also arrested on the train. The 20-year-old and 16-year-old suspects are both residents of Kruiningen and were taken to the police station.           

The train continues

After the suspects were arrested and the witnesses were heard, the train could continue its journey with some delay.
