Around 5:00 PM, several people smell smoke in Central Station. Moments later, it turns out that the curtains of a dressing room are on fire. This was set up in the hall for the Canal Parade that afternoon. Security footage shows a man lighting an object, which later turned out to be a newspaper, causing the curtains to catch fire immediately. Station staff were able to extinguish the fire right away; fortunately, no one was injured. The police are investigating the matter and do not rule out a possible LGBTQ+ motive.
