Officers were looking for the man after reports were made that he might be carrying a firearm. Around 12:15 PM, they found the man at the Stationsplein. Due to the possible firearm possession, an officer drew his weapon during the arrest. The suspect was searched, but no weapon was found. After further investigation in the area, officers found something that looked like a firearm in a trash can. This turned out to be a blank pistol. The suspect has been detained for questioning. The police are conducting further investigations.
