Three Spaniards Arrested for Sexual Offenses

Gebied: Driebergen

On Monday, March 10, the police arrested three Spaniards suspected of sexual offenses. This occurred at a holiday park in the Netherlands. The Fugitive Active Search Team Netherlands (FASTNL) received a request from Spain on March 6 to locate and arrest the trio.

These are two separate sexual offense cases. In the first case, two brothers aged 28 and 30 are suspected of assault, abuse, and sexual violence committed in Spain. In the second case, a 36-year-old man is suspected of sexual acts with minors aged between 13 and 16, of which he made video recordings.

Cooperation between the Public Prosecution Service and Police

FASTNL is a collaboration between the Public Prosecution Service and the police with one mission: to get fugitive criminals back behind bars. The team is part of the National Investigation and Interventions Unit and is available 24/7. FASTNLs motto is that no one is untraceable; no one should escape their punishment.

FASTNL is affiliated with the European Network of Fugitive Active Search Teams (ENFAST) and is a partnership of investigative teams from police services within the European Union.
