On Sunday, October 5, at 11:30 AM, someone from Eindhoven called 112. His girlfriend, who lived on Enschotsetstraat in Tilburg, had called to say she had been stabbed. At nearly the same moment, a 112 report came from that Enschotsestraat that a woman had been stabbed. Emergency services rushed to the street and indeed found a seriously injured woman in the home of the helpful neighbor. Ambulance personnel took care of her and she was transported to a hospital.
Arrest
The victim, a resident of the apartment, was able to briefly tell the responding officers that she had been stabbed by a neighbor. That neighbor, who also lives in the apartment, was arrested shortly after the incident. He has been taken to the station and is suspected of attempted murder or manslaughter.
