The police received a report around 03:00 on Sunday morning that an explosion had occurred at a house on Karnemelksloot. The explosion damaged the house. So far, no injuries have been reported.

Around 03:15, the police received a report of an explosion at a house on Poldermeesterslag. Again, the house sustained damage. No injuries have been reported so far.

Dangerous

Placing explosives is life-threatening: for entrepreneurs, residents, passersby, and emergency responders. For consumers, prohibited heavy fireworks, jerrycans with flammable liquids, and homemade explosives create life-threatening situations and do not belong in public spaces.

The police are investigating the circumstances of both explosions and would like to get in touch with witnesses.
