The man insulted police officers, pushed one officer, and also elbowed him in the face. The suspect was subsequently arrested for assault and insult. During the arrest and the subsequent transport and detention at the arrest complex, the suspect continued to resist violently. Officers then used force. The suspect later complained about his arm and was taken to the hospital, where it was found that he had a fracture.

A man who was arrested by the police on Saturday, March 22, was injured during the process. Officers responded to a report of disturbances at Kameraplein in IJsselstein. The 51-year-old man was allegedly the cause but proved to be aggressive and unresponsive on-site.
