At around 09:30 AM, the victim (22) is at a gas station on Middenweg in Biervliet. As he is about to walk towards the cash register, he sees a person, who for unknown reasons appears to be angry and frustrated, getting into his car. As that man drives away in his car, he suddenly stops in front of the victim, rolls down his window, and points a gun at the victim. He also shouts several threats. When the startled victim does not react, the suspect suddenly accelerates and drives away. Alerted officers immediately begin searching for the suspect after the report, supported by a police helicopter. The car is spotted shortly thereafter in Axel. At that moment, there are two men in the car. Both are arrested through the debriefing procedure for firearm-dangerous suspects.  No weapon is found in the car. One suspect is detained and is being examined for the use of narcotics. A search for the possible weapon will also be conducted. The second arrested suspect has since been released.
