Following an ongoing investigation, the police raided a house on Druivenstraat. Various items indicating a possible drug processing location were found on site. Additionally, drugs were discovered (several kilos of hemp and over 30 kilos of amphetamine) which were seized. The location was dismantled by the National Dismantling Faculty (LFO) and the drugs were confiscated. They will be destroyed at a later time. In connection with this investigation, two other properties in Budel and Eindhoven were searched. Several data carriers and a cash amount were seized. Two suspects were questioned and released; they remain suspects in this case. The third suspect is still in custody and is being questioned.
Keep crime out of your neighborhood, recognize the signs
Because a processing location or drug lab involves the use of highly flammable substances, there is a risk of explosion and thus great danger to nearby residents. Therefore, report suspicious situations!
Think of the smell of acetone or anise, a house or garage where people come at strange times, carrying large bags or barrels. Houses with taped windows, strong ventilation, or constant humming sounds. Want to know more about how to recognize suspicious situations or how to report them? Visit www.houdmisdaaduitjebuurt.nl
