The Results
During the control, a large number of cars and scooters were checked. At least 175 fines were issued for various traffic violations, mostly for speeding. One person even lost their driving license for exceeding the speed limit. In total, four drivers were arrested for driving under the influence and two for possession of narcotics. The police confiscated two scooters because the drivers were riding without a license. Additionally, seven scooters had an excessive construction speed. These seven scooters are not allowed on the road until the vehicle is modified and re-inspected. The costs for this are the owners responsibility.
