Officers were, as usual, on a patrol round when they noticed the man. There was suspicion that the driver was holding a phone in his hands. He was also driving erratically. The driver was asked to stop at a gas station on the A27 in Oosterhout, which he did properly.
Upon inspection, it turned out that the vehicle was in poor condition and needed urgent maintenance. Additionally, officers found dozens of pony packs containing narcotics in the vehicle. The driver was also suspected of having driven under the influence of cocaine.
The 28-year-old man from Breda has been arrested and taken to the police station for questioning. The police are investigating his background and possible involvement in drug trafficking.
