Three suspects arrested for forcibly detaining 14-year-old boy

The detectives have arrested three suspects for the unlawful detention, assault, threats, and humiliation of a 14-year-old boy in the Hakfort apartment complex on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The victim was injured and robbed of clothing and a phone. The detectives are still looking for witnesses and urge them to come forward.

On Wednesday evening between 10:00 and 10:30 PM, the 14-year-old boy met an acquaintance at Duivendrecht station. The victim was threatened and forced to come along. Via Bijlmer-Arena station and Bullewijk metro station, they ended up in the storage room of the Hakfort apartment complex. Suddenly, two more boys appeared. The victim was then beaten, threatened with a knife and a firearm, humiliated, and robbed of his clothing and phone. Afterwards, he was released and police officers found him injured in a thicket following a disturbing call from a witness.

The detectives immediately launched an extensive investigation. On Thursday, November 13, a 14-year-old boy from Leidschendam and two boys aged 15 and 16 from Amsterdam were arrested.
