During the celebration, a single incident occurred. A fight broke out near Pothoofd, after which several individuals turned against the police. Three police officers were injured. The police arrested one person in connection with the incident. Another person was arrested for disturbing the public order.

Celebration of Go Ahead Eagles

On Wednesday evening, April 23, the celebration of Go Ahead Eagles took place, following the victory in the TOTO KNVB Cup final last Monday against AZ. The celebration consisted of a bus ride along the IJssel. Along the route, there were between 15,000 and 20,000 people. The bus ride was exuberant and festive. Many visitors were dressed in red and yellow, and many entrepreneurs and residents along the route had decorated their homes or businesses.
