The police were able to arrest this suspect after multiple reports via MeldMisdaadAnoniem from vigilant citizens. According to the reports, the man was involved in selling illegal vapes to minors.
On Monday evening around 4:40 PM, the police observed the 26-year-old suspect from Amersfoort actually selling vapes to minors. He was arrested at that time. During this arrest, nearly 200 illegal vapes were found in his vehicle. These were vapes with sweet flavors. The sale of these is prohibited in the Netherlands.
Garage Box
The police conducted further investigation and found a garage box containing another 5000 illegal vapes and 340 boxes of snus. The vapes and snus were seized by the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). The NVWA imposed a fine on the suspect. The illegal products will be destroyed at the suspects expense. The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
