On November 26, 2025, a day of action took place in the investigation. Three properties were searched: two on Eendenweg and one on 2e Wormenseweg in Apeldoorn.
Drugs, Cash, and Fireworks
A resident was arrested at 2e Wormenseweg. Additionally, a trade quantity of drugs, cash, and heavy, illegal fireworks were found and seized in the house. The resident remains in custody.
Two searches took place on Eendenweg. In one of the two houses, a large quantity of drugs, a firearm-like object, cash, and also heavy, illegal fireworks were found and seized. This house was closed by the municipality of Apeldoorn the same day (and remains closed). A resident was also arrested here but was released the next day. However, the man is still considered a suspect.
New Arrests
Further investigation led the police to three more suspects. Two of them were arrested on Monday, January 5 of this year, and remain in custody. They are a minor boy and a 20-year-old man from Apeldoorn. On Friday, January 9, another minor boy from Apeldoorn was arrested. He also remains in custody.
The men are suspected of trafficking and possession of drugs. Tackling this has high priority for the police, the Public Prosecution Service (OM), and the municipality. Drug trafficking is associated with deterioration of the living environment, violence, intimidation, and extortion. Also consider the social consequences of addiction for addicts and their surroundings. If you suspect (drug) crime in your area, always report it to the police.
