That morning, around 9:15 AM, construction workers were unsuspectingly working at a shopping center. Suddenly, they were shot at from a nearby apartment, they reported. No one was injured, but there were several bullet holes in the facade.

Two suspects
The police, wearing heavy bulletproof vests, deployed in large numbers to the shopping center. They started an extensive investigation, which quickly revealed a 37-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both from Roosendaal. Both were arrested and taken to the police station.

Drug lab
The two were staying in a nearby apartment. Upon entry, officers found a possible drug lab with various devices, materials, and chemical substances. The police also found multiple weapons, some of which were fake.

The Dutch National Facility for Dismantling (LFO) was present at the crime scene and specializes in the safe removal and disposal of hazardous substances.
