At around 6:00 PM, the victim was riding a jetski on the water. Near the Nessersluis, there is a ferry. The man may have collided with a cable of the ferry that was stretched above the water. Both bystanders and responding officers provided immediate first aid, but unfortunately, the man died from his injuries in the hospital.

A 47-Year-Old Man Dies After Jetski Accident

On the waters of the Amstel, near the Nessersluis, a serious accident occurred on Tuesday evening. A 47-year-old man from Amstelveen was severely injured and later died in the hospital. The police are investigating the case and are calling on witnesses to come forward.
