Healthcare Fraud - Julianastraat - Leiderdorp
On Sunday morning, September 7, criminals violently robbed a 92-year-old resident of Julianastraat in Leiderdorp. The scammers called the woman pretending to be home care workers. Using an excuse about insurance, they convinced the victim to hand over her jewelry. One of the scammers came to pick it up at 10:45 AM. Before leaving, he violently pulled the rings the victim was wearing off her fingers. In the Team West broadcast, we show images of one of the scammers. He is a man wearing a blue tracksuit. We hope someone recognizes him.
Riots - Malieveld - The Hague
On September 20, a large demonstration took place at Malieveld against asylum policy. Shortly after the start of the demonstration, a large group left the podium to walk onto the A12 highway. This was followed by violence against the police at various locations, multiple acts of vandalism, and journalists being harassed. A police car was also set on fire. A TGO investigation has been launched to examine the vandalism and acts of violence. In Team West, we show multiple suspects suspected of criminal offenses in the hope they will be recognized.

This week, we focus on an explosion during the night of Saturday, October 25 to Sunday, October 26, 2025, at an entrance hall on Goeverneurlaan in The Hague. We also highlight an action week aimed at tackling heavy, consumer-prohibited fireworks, during which fifteen suspects were arrested in mid-October.
