Countless promising and feasible ideas for transformative climate research never get off the ground. Not because they fall short, but because they do not fit within the fixed frameworks of the current funding system. They feel too risky to submit or too uncertain to meet the expectations of reviewers. From the outside, these often remain invisible.

Are you a climate researcher in the broadest sense of the word and do you have experience with public funding and its limitations?

This is an invitation to think big and seek uncertainty. The goal is to gather valuable insights for funders and research institutions, so that together we can reconsider how we make and support various forms of climate research possible – with room for the unpredictable, the collective, and the truly transformative.
