Owners and heritage communities can apply for a subsidy from the Subsidy Scheme for Promoting the Reassignment of Monuments (the reassignment scheme) until November 30, 2025.
The reassignment scheme promotes sustainable use of protected monuments and other buildings with cultural-historical value. The scheme prevents monuments for which a new function is difficult to find from standing empty for long periods and deteriorating quickly.

Available Budget
Over € 2 million is available for feasibility studies, € 400,000 for sustainability studies, and € 720,000 for making protected monuments wind- and watertight.
