From 18 applications, the jury has selected three young professionals competing for the title Museum Talent 2025: Lisse de Bie (Groninger Museum), Nychenda Fecunda (World Museum Rotterdam), and Christian van Houwelingen (National Education Museum). The winner will be announced in a festive manner during the Museum Congress on October 6.

Three Finalists

Jury members with knowledge of the museum sector have chosen three finalists from all candidates for each award. They considered the visibility of the candidates work, their contribution to special projects, and the lasting impression they leave behind. Candidates are nominated by their employer or supervisor.

Talent Development

Since 2017, the Minister of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) has commissioned the Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) to stimulate the development of young heritage professionals. Four awards were established: the Monument Talent Award, the Museum Talent Award, the Archaeology Talent Award, and the Landscape Talent Award.
