Rijkswaterstaat has definitively awarded the contract for the maintenance of the Krúsrak bridge in Sneek to contractors CT de Boer and the consortium Hupkes Wijma – Koninklijke Oosterhof Holman.
Engineering firm CT de Boer, along with Wagenborg Nedlift, is responsible for moving the Krúsrak bridge and building and installing the temporary bridge. The renovation work is carried out by the consortium Hupkes Wijma – Koninklijke Oosterhof Holman.
These tasks include cleaning, drying, repairing, and preserving the Krúsrak. The temporary work area on the Selfhelpweg, opposite the Baptist Church Sneek, is currently being set up for this purpose. Specialized knowledge and craftsmanship are required for the entry, exit, and renovation of the wooden Krúsrak bridge. We are confident that both contractors possess these qualities.
